Boot into dos mode, and run Fdisk. If you see a partition that is
"unknown", that is the linux partition. You can safely delete that. Fat16
and FAT32 partitions are cleanly identified by Fdisk.

Just do it. You can't kill it. If it fails, start over and do it better :)
