Hi,

You can have a modem connection running with a network connection as well.

You need to use the keyword "defaultroute" (without quotes) in your kppp script
or settings. This will force the use of the modem connection in preference to
the network connection.

Also, it is likely that you have not set the 2 dns IP addresses for your ISP in
the kppp settings. These are required so that the URLs can be converted into IP
addresses. Without these the browsers won't work.

If you don't know the dns IP addresses then try the keyword "userpeerdns" in
the kppp settings. This will cause your ISP to send the addresses to kppp and
kppp can then use them. When the modem connection goes down the dns addresses
are automatically removed.
