Have installed Mandrake 7.02, on a new Gateway
500p.
Have been going through the usual Lilo blues
bit. used win98 start up disk to get to the c: and
ran fdisk /mbr to regain control. Booting from
floppy now and attempting to reinstall Lilo, with
Linux as secondary boot, and Windows(W) set to
be located on /dev/hda1.
Following error message appears:
Value expected at EOF near line 16 in lilo.conf
Lilo Died
I have installed Linux on an 1.2gig. western digital
ide HD cira 1993. With windows on a separate
4.3gig EIDE. I intend to trash IE, Outlook
Express, Word, and Outlook ASAP
Your advice is appreciated.
PS: Will Pegasus mail work in Linux?
