I have installed on my machine Mandrake 7 and Win98. Linux is found in the
primary partion on my second hard-disk which is 20GB.

I would like to move (with Partition Magic) the Linux partition to the back
of the disk (beyond the 1024th cylinder) in order to keep another Window
partition within the 1024th cylinder (the Windows partition on this 20GB disk
works soooo slowly!).

I have downloaded the new patches for Lilo the 1024th cyllinder problem, but
don't know how to install them! I hope you can help.

Many thanks.
Ming

(ps. I was told that another way of addressing the 1024 cylinder problem is
to have the /boot directory installed within the 1024th cylinder, and the
rest of Linux anywhere I want. Is this true? If it is true, my /boot is in
the same partition as my Linux, how can I take it out, put it in a new
partition and still make Linux work?)
