  Out of curiosity I went to the Creative sight to check out the specs. on
there modems. Their external modem is the only one they list as being usable
under DOS all their internal modems require Win98 or 95. If a modem will
work in DOS it can be configured to work in Linex, if it will not work in
DOS then it is a WinModem.
