Well, The rtl8139 driver is not working at all. This is also funny because I
used the epic100 driver at a few different distributions and there the
driver is working.
When I load the epic100 driver he displays the correct IRQ and IO address.
Something else I could check?

in order to get the smc 9432 to work in linux, use the rtl8139 driver. i
have a
9000 series card from smc and this is the driver you have to use. For the
8000
series it is the wd driver.
