do you mean, how do you physically fit it, or how to see it in windows
or linux, under linux you will have to mount it either manually during a
linux session or at bootup into linux, to do this you need to know if it
is an ide or scsi drive, also you need to know what your current drive
is. also are you going to have more than one partition on the new drive?
you will need to mount each new partition at a seperate mount point of
your choice in your existing filesystem,
as regards windows, if you put a dos partition on your new drive then
it will become drive D in windows even if you already have a second dos
partition on your first drive (this partition will then become drive E)
let us know what you already have and how you intend to allocate space
on your new drive
