This is like asking what the best car is.
If you want a simple, light, stable environment, use Windowmaker.
If you want something very pretty so see, lots of colors and gadgets, use
Gnome.
If you want something real solid, use KDE.
Just about anything runs in everything, is my idea, as long as the right
supporting libs are installed.
