I've actually been to the Grokking the Gimp sight and
perused the book a little bit.  I am a "jump in and
sink to the bottom then learn to swim to get back to
the top" kind of learner.  I'm going to spend a lot of
time reading that book once I've spent another year
fumbling around with the Gimp.
