This is a truly great idea (and a nice marketing niche for Mandrake, I am
surprised no other distro has had similar concerns, AFAIK). I hope you can pull
it out.

IMHO, GUI's other than KDE (and Gnome) could be a checkbutton option. I have
tried them a few times, but since I do not use them - sometimes I use Gnome,
most of the time I use KDE- they are now just a curiosisty which takes some
space in my HD. Naturally, I could just uninstall them, but as Denis mentioned:

Afterstep, Blackbox, etc. users are naturally very concerned about their
GUI's, while the majority who uses KDE or Gnome and is largely unconcerned
about them. The "majority" in the former sentence is what I gather from
anedoctary evidence, of course I may be wrong...
Another suggestion is to have Sun's StarOffice (and maybe Netscape Communicator)
as checkbuttons too. Some purists are offended by the idea of having a
non-open source program in their systems, whereas others want both the free
speech and the free beer. Since the default for the checkbutton is "no", this
could be a nice compromise between the two crowds.
Cheers,
