    I've had graphics almost every time.  If I recall correctly, the only 
times I didn't have a graphical install was when the CD was not in the drive 
as the floppy was loading the install initially.  Is your CD in the drive as 
you begin?  I'm not talking about booting from the CD, which my computer will 
not do, thus I haven't tried.  -Gary-
