hello,
can anyone help me with this problem.
1st, i tried to install linux. i had the opportunity to have linux
take over my whole computer, since i ended up formatting everything.
so i had autoallocate allocate and create the partitions in the linux
setup. then, i installed it. after installing the packages, i reached
the part where it said it was going to install x-windows. so i waited.
then the screen turned black for like 2 seconds, then it went to a
screen full of gray x's. i shutdown the comp. rebooted, and it started
in the mandrake dos type thing where it asks for my localhost login.
after that, all i get is this prompt...
[paul@localhost paul]$
and from there i don't know what to do. i tried to re-install linux
over again to setup x-windows....but no avail either. help please! God
