Hi Edison,

I have re-installed, and have run through the steps up to step 11, below. At
that point it fell over. When I tried to run lilo after having added that
extra bit in lilo.conf, it gave me the error "Open
/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.14-15.mdkfb". So, from the terminal prompt, I went to
check and that file IS there in /boot, with that same name.

So I ignored this and re-booted. When the LILO prompt came up, I typed "fb".
The error message in response was "No such image" (which is understandable,
seeing as the latest addition to LILO didnt work).

Did you ever get this error, and how did you get around it ?

thanks,
Andrew
