This is a bit of a confusing statement... read it again... ;-) Should the
'at' be 'as'?

It could not be the dialer. That just sets up a line.

Try looking at Balsa or Mahogany (www.linuxberg.com) if you want a GUI
based e-mail client. These are really good.
