Hi,
In an earlier post from Denis it was suggested that getting the most
current sounddrake might solve problems with 7.1 and SB Live! cards.
Shouldn't an app like that show up in the list when I launch the Update
tool since themost current wasn't included with 7.1 ? On the Harddrake
site, it has a few package updates, one of which is needed for
sounddrake. That sd version also needs a newer alsa installed, that will
be the next adventure. None of these are displayed in the update window,
so what does update look for ? Or should those packages be displayed and
my update is not working correctly ?
