Roman
   Me again!!
I have a Creative Blaster 8432CDRW and using the recomend mode istall
both 7.0 and 7.1 recognized and auto mounted it.
I can for the most part use and access it; and in fact both my hds, all
partitions except Be, my DVD,and my USB Zip drive (in 7.1) just as easily in
Linux as I can in Windows. All I have to do is click on the drive or
partition and I have access and use of it.
I know this is more of an answer than you wanted but I just wanted to
give an idea of how well Mandrake installed and works on my system without
any interference from me at all.

   Charles :-)
