I looked at the .lxdoom in home/fran directory
it is an empty file <huh?>
Maybe that is the problem, huh?
What is supposed to be there?
I don't think it ever got far enough to write anything.
(also yes, the wad file is in the /usr/share/games/doom
directory and I did rename it to doom.wad
I will rename it DOOM.WAD ... Linux is very case sensitive.
