I noticed in the list several messages concerning e-mail client's. I
saw that there was no mention of Polarbar mailer, I found this mail
client about six months ago and like it very much. Polarbar is a pure
java mail client so requires, obviously, that java be installed on your
system . This mailer is very feature rich and can be easily configured
with multiple personas, pop accounts and incorporates it's own very
useful filters as well. Information is available at www.polarbar.org
wher you can download polarbar and also find links for java resourses as
well. I began using Polarbar when I needed to find a mailer that would
understand qmails Maildir structure as I run my own smtp server here and
use qmail as my MTA. There are many mail-clients that are available for
use with Linux-Mandrake and still more that are under active
developement . Look around at linapps for a list of other MTA's,
mail-client's, if anyone decides to try Polarbar and has difficulty with
it I would be more than happy to help where I can. I also have Polarbar
setup on my rsync server here at n3meq.dynip.com and the module contains
everything necessary to setup the mail client as well as rpm's for java.
Good Luck,
Dave
