I installed gcc from the Mandrake 7.0 CD and the header files were put into /usr/i386-glibc-linux/include/ but when I compile a C program I get an error saying "Cannot find stdio.h". I have put /usr/i386-glibc-linux/include in my PATH but it hasn't helped.which makes me wonder what the PATH variable is doing anyway. I have spent most of today on this and am throwing in the towell. Any help will be appreciated. Dana
