[newbie] PPP connection for other than root

Hello everyone!

What should I do to use a PPP dialup conection to internet whithout going into 
drakconf/network/PPP?
I'd like to have a sort of shortcut so I dont have to go into drakconf (and type 
root's password). Is this possible?
