If you are running the KDE desktop, just open the menu, go to INTERNET,
and you will find KPPP there. Go into the setup bits and pieces, it should
fairly much be self-explanatory. (Otherwise ask the modem users here.)

Then you should ask about not being able to get anywhere, and we will
explain about /etc/resolv.conf, where you need to write

search <your-isp>
nameserver <dns-ip-address1>
nameserver <dns-ip-address2>

And we'll see you online through linux!
