I downloaded Diald from rpmfind.net, but when I try to install it in LM 7.1, RpmDrake says "execution of script failed". It's a Mandrake compiled RPM, and is dated 4/2000 (version 0.99.1-2mdk). Does it sound like a corrupted RPM? It also left a core dump file. For the heck of it I loaded it into a word processor to see if it contained any useful info. Mostly gibberish, but I found some interesting stuff to read. It contained commentary on some other applications, and it suggested trying GetRight - it said it works good with KDE! I didn't even know GetRight made a Linux port! Anyway I did confirm that the core dump came from the diald RPM. It also said "couldnot do authorization", but I don't know whether or not that originated from the install failure, or if it just came from where ever the rest of the contents of the core dump came from. Are there any other places to get a recent diald RPM? Well, on the positive side if this hadn't happened I might not be on my way to the GetRight webpage right now! ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
