I moved this to newbie list where it is probably more fitting. I do not know how to get the files I downloaded (to my E:\linux folder to copy them to the root so that I can proceed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am sure there is some simple command but I do not know what it is. This has to be done from the command line. xfree86 and all other GUIs do not exist on my system. I am trying to add them. the files I wish to copy are the xfree rpms. TIA >
