I have lost track, and don't remember if this has been addressed yet.
192.168.x.x is an IP range for home-use. It is not accessed from the Net.
If you are connecting to your ISP through the NIC, you will need to figure
out if they use dynamic IP addressing (you get a new IP address each time
you log in), or what fixed IP address you are assigned (you can find that
through Windows95/98: run winipcfg when you're connected).

I can't say more since I don't have this kind of setup, but perhaps this
helps a bit.
