No problems with Quake 2 (using software
rendering), OpenGL is still quite new to linux and I've not yet been able to get
it working under Quake 3 which does not support software rendering. My
install was just loggin in as root and running the install script. I'm
using a Matrox G400 max card.

Subject: [newbie] Quake 2???
Hi all
Has any one successfully gotten Quake 2 to
work. I have a TNT 2 32 MB Card. I downloaded the latest GZIP'd driver pack,
but am not sure if I installed it correctly. I get an error about a problem
with NV-GLX.
Can someone please help.
