Alan,

When you boot your machine, press F8 as it's booting and boot to a C:\
prompt. at the prompt type:   fdisk /mbr  and hit enter.

This will completely uninstall LILO from the MBR. DO NOT do this though
unless you have a boot disk to get back into Linux cause if you don't have
one you're not going to be a happy camper.
