I am currently using Mandrake 7.02. When I try to use the "Updates" link
on the desktop, it grabs the list of ftp servers and applications
normally. However, whenever I select the packages and try the update, I
get the following error message: "An error occurred while fetching file
<nameoffile>". This happens no matter which ftp site I choose.

Still on the "updates" topic, is it actually worth to upgrade from 7.02 to
7.1? 7.02 is working very smoothly, I would hate to risk it having ruined
by a misshap during another install (plus, all the configs and tweaks
in the freshly installed system are a drag).

Cheers,
/J.
