I have a dual boot system running Win98 and Linux. Recently, I
upgraded my network card to a Linksys LNE100TX(ver. 4) and then upgraded
from SuSE Linux 6.4 to Mandrake 7.1.
Neither version of Linux will install my network card. Checking PCI
devices shows an Ethernet card present but the vendor is unknown. I've
tried all the tricks: compiling the latest tulip driver (I get a ton of
errors), changing network settings, changing BIOS settings, etc. No luck.
Has anyone had any luck with this card? I have scanned all the support
pages and news groups I can find, but to no avail. They all mention
compiling the driver, but I can't seem to make that work. Any help I can
get would be greatly appreciated.
