It is awsome. I run it, too. I am a newbie and I got it up and running in
about 15 minutes. Apparently, it has some trouble with ISPs that change your
IP addresses frequently, but I do not leave mine on all the time. I use it
to allow up to five other computers to share an ADSL connection and to share
files.

My Mandrake box works perfectly well through the FREESCO box. I stopped
using DHCP for my Mandrake box with Mandrake 7, although the others (running
Windows or Mac OS) use DHCP to get IP addresses from the FREESCO box with no
problem. I stopped using DHCP on the Mandrake box because I was having
trouble with the Apache server. I don't know whether that was related to the
problem, but I have left it static and installed Mandrake 7.1 with a static
IP address. I was able to connect all right to the Internet with the
DHCP-assigned IP address, though.

Do you have everything pointing to the FREESCO box correctly. My internal
network uses the 192.168.0.x range, with the FREESCO box at 192.168.0.1. The
gateway and DNS server addresses for the Mandrake box are pointing to
192.16.0.1.

Do you have any other computers that are able to connect through the FREESCO
box? Can you try using a static IP address?
