As far as I know the only drivers for Linux and DirecPC are the
pricey binaries from Hellios (roughly $200). From what I understand
they work well but at that price I sold my DirecPC and moved to MLPPP
as an Internet access option. It actually doesn't work as nicely
overall on a Windows box as DirecPC but it is one of the few
affordable options for a Linux box when one of the broadband options
isn't available in your area.
