Depending on the ICQ client(s) you and others are using, and depending upon
whether you have left those ports open on the firewall, you may or mat not
have success with ICQ.
I have read that ICQ 1999b, on Win95 and Win98, behind a firewall work;
however, the 2000(a) version doesn't. This may be a problem with the client
itself, or with the ports that are being used.
You may actually need to play around with port-forwarding in these cases to
get around the issue if ICQ will permit that.
To tell you the truth, I don't use ICQ, so I couldn't get you any further
than this. But, I hope at least this small amount was helpful.
