Which version of winblows do you have? If it's Win98, you can try running
the setup utility for windows, from within winblows...proceed as though
you're going to install fresh, and it should, it should replace all the
system files, reinstall your dirvers, and get everything back to normal
without screwing up your apps.
Of course, your MBR is going to be re-written in either case, and if you're
using lilo to dual-boot you'll want to make a boot disk for linux, and re-do
lilo after installing the winblows.
