i have managed to install xfree86-4.01 and set up my x86config so its working
great with the standard 'nv' drivers; so i then tried to load in the new Nvidia
0.9-4 drivers, now the problem starts, all i get is a black screen; have check
the '/var/log' file for xfree86.0.log, report erros but cannot see why.
1. the kernel makes and install o.k, and have done '/sbin/insmod NVdriver'
reports its loaded.
2. rmoved all conflicing files to do with the 'Mesa-GLX' module, and installed
the nvidia-glx with no probles, but then when i run the nv.check script, its
reports that it cannot find the 'libGLore.so' files in '/usr/lib'
(tried making symbolic links- no differance)
Can anyone who has install the driver version help please, have got quakle
3 and sof from loki games, just gathering dust :-(
