Start by looking at the card its self to get an idea of what the chipset on it is. Try to find a brand name or another source of information you can use to search on on the web. Go to the mandrake site for hardware compatability, and search for the kind of cards using your chipset. You'll be able to determine this with some investigative work, but not too much.
