[newbie] Scanners and Linux

Hi all, Brian here again... (you know the silly one)<g>

just a quick question, I have a customer who wants to who what scanners will
work under Linux, will any???? or is there a special thing that it needs
(like a non brain-dead modem , read non win modem)?
