With what ? I presume you used the win9.X start-up disk. Does you boot disk
contain cdrom drivers.Try to access your cdrom drive, then cd\dosutils,
execute autoboot.bat from there.
NO GO ?
Then you have to create a linux installation disk, again boot-up with your
win9.X boot-up disk, must have cdrom drivers to activate the rom drive, say
your cdrom drive is drive D:
follow these instructions ffrom RH 6.0 Installation Guide:
C:\> d:
D:\> cd \dosutils {press ENTER}
D:\dosutils>rawrite {press ENTER}
Enter disk image source file name: ..\images\boot.img {press ENTER}
Enter target diskette drive : a: {press ENTER}
Please insert a formatted diskette into drive A: and
press  -- ENTER -- : {press ENTER}

after drive A: light has gone out your linux installation boot disk is ready.
Reboot your computer with this disk in drive A: and follow instructions on
the monitor.
Remember to choose *workstation class installaion*
I have installed RedHat 6.0 following above routine.
Good luck, mail me direct if you wish to.
