[newbie] Alsa

Is there anyone who has installed the ALSA drivers with Mandrake.  I
compiled the utilities, the library, and the drivers.  Also made the
devices as stated in the ALSA HOWTO.  But it still installs the OSS
drivers.

Any advice would be helpful.
