I tried to upgrade my kernel with RPM's before; failed miserably at it. I
eventually just upgraded the old fasion way by downloading and compiling the
source code. Anyway, http://www.mandrakeuser.org/install/kupgrade2.html should
help you install your new kernel via RPM.
