I am running Mandrake 7.0 & /proc/pci shows :

I hope this would be what someone would need to help me on my problem.
If you need something else, please just ask. I am a newbie so please be
concise and verbose.
Now for the problem. Occasionally when I start kppp (I have to have
Task Manager started to see the following) maudio uses about 93% of the
cpu and never stops!!! the task tree is kaudioserver
|----> maudio.
I must kill maudio. This does not seem to bother any thing?? Except
maybe the audio!
Another symptom is if I change virtual windows, start a terminal
windows or and do anything that changes windows fast, the system sounds
stop. Such as opening or closing windows (in linux not win9x). I do not
know if these symptoms are connected but I thought I would include all
the info I had.
Any help would be appreciated.
