Hi I just purchased and registered Linux 7.1 Mandrake Complete today
8-26-2000. I am putting it on a custom built system. The problem I am
having is that when it see the CD-ROM and starts copying files the menu
never comes up as stated in the insulation and user guide on pg.49. The
screen that comes up is blue but with no menus and a red line on the left
side. It looks like the one on page 49 but with no options to select. The
hard drive is blank with no partition and is going to be the only Operation
System on the drive. At one time the drive had win95 on it but I used fdisk
to delete the partitions. Tried to use Partitions magic but looks like its
designed if using dual boot system with windows. I used a bootable floppy
for windows 95 and CD-ROM drivers to DIR the CD-ROM. I am thinking its my
video card that is causing the problems. Please help!!
