well i read everything possible on what seems to be a real simple install of mandrake 7.1 and i had nothing but problems, grub wouldnt load the kernel properly by telling it i had no memory, x windows didnt want to load said i had no usable screens, i ran the auto install as a final attempt now it runs almost the way i want except for some reason the windows are way to big, outside of that its running, my windows is running, everything is running :)
