do you remember the first time you saw "diskdruid?" Man! I do. I freaked
and wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get the thing installed at
all. Then I found out that there was another partition utility available
which was much like DOS fdisk. Made the install much easier. I think
that's a lot of why folks are wired a lot of the time when you see the
messages. I understand your frustration though.
