I've not installed a voodoo3. Perhaps the linux
drivers for the voodoo3 are compiled against a
different version of glide (or OGL) then the screen
savers/plugins that you want to use? Although that
shouldn't be the case because my voodoo5 will run
screen savers and the xmms plugins and it can only use
glide3. I honestly don't have the faintest idea. I'm
sorry I couldn't help. I folowed the instructions on
http://linux.3dfx.com and it all seems to work just
fine.
