If you want to be able to use both on either PC there's a program called
VNC that works great. There's a version for both Windows and Linux.

The URL is: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/

Give it a try. We use it quite heavily where I work. It helps us take care
of a lot of user-troubles that we would normally have to run up and down
the stairs to take care. Not to mention that at times they thing we're
working magic before their eyes. We can also use it to perform system
maintenence during the weekend from home, so there are lots of
applications for the program.
