[newbie] kernel headers after upgrade

Hi all,

I have upgraded my kernel to 2.2.16.
Now I heard something about kernel headers, so I got the kernel-headers
rpm for 2.2.16.

When I rpm -Uvh that, I get complaints about older files being needed by
other older files.

Is it safe to install this all with --nodeps, or is there something else I
should know?
