Rodrigo, Hola, no not all internal modems are winmodems. I have a Best
Data internal ISA modem, jumpered and it is lightning for a modem. Works
very well. Modems that are PCI or ISA and say made for windows or
controllerless somewhere on the package are winmodems and will not work.
As far as I have been able to find out, external modems are all usable
with linux. You can probably find the ones most suitable by checking
places like eLinux.com where they sell only linux compatible hardware.
Luck, Dennis
