I really like Pronto (http://www.muhri.net/pronto). Nice perl client
that supports multiple pop/local accounts, using the GTK widget set. Nice
installer as well - if you already have perl installed, run the
ProntoInstaller.pl script on the download page and it installs the additional
packages it needs.
