You need to pull mail from your ISP's mail server through fetchmail or
getmail. That drops the mail in a mail-file. Pine reads that file. Pine is
a mail user agent (read and write), where sendmail or qmail and fetchmail
is a mail transport agent (does the actual getting and sending)
