Hello! I have recently installed Mandrake 7.1. I have two major problems: 1. First, it seems that I can compile a source file either by gcc or g77, but I cannot run object file giving command (a.o or a.out - permissions are ok), instead get a message bash: a.o: command not found 2. My other problem is related to ethernet card that other distributions can cause to the same problem. The ethernet card is identified but I can't configure it due to this diagnostic message: 3c59x.c:v0.99H 11/17/98 Donald Becker http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers/vortex.html eth0: 3Com 3c905B Cyclone 100baseTx at 0xd400, 00:50:04:09:b4:41, IRQ 0 *** Warning: IRQ 0 is unlikely to work! *** 8K byte-wide RAM 5:3 Rx:Tx split, autoselect/Autonegotiate interface.
