Mark, Are you using a disk that is in use for sometime ? (Might have bad sectors). When I try to install RedHat6.0 into a 'half dead' harddisk I got what you described above. With new disk, I install, uninstall, reinstall - no problems, just 0.0002 cents of info. Cheers
